Tiffany begins her international season with Ladies Tour of Qatar
Tiffany is heading to the Middle East tonight to take part in the first international race of the women's calendar for the season the L
adies Tour of Qatar. Tiffany is heading there as part of a strong Australian national team, joining Tiffany will be current Australian national road champion Ruth Corset (QLD), Current Australian criterium champion Carly Light (SA), two time former Australian criterium champion Kirsty Broun (QLD), Lauren Kitchen (NSW), and Sarah Roy (NSW).
The girls will be battling strong winds, and a world class field in the desert of Qatar, for the 3 day flat tour suited to sprinters. It is only the second time the women have ever had a race here but it is a unique experience and teamed up with the Men's Tour of Qatar. Tiffany will be racing as support to the team sprinter as a domestique as the style of racing is suited to her strengths. The race runs from the 3-5 of February.
Tiffany will continue her season in Europe beginning in March but will now be racing with the Australian Institute of Sport / National team at least for the first part of the season as she seeks a new pro contract after in December her previous team she had signed with Skyter World Team losing there major sponsor Skyter Shipping and the team management unable to find a replacement major sponsor in the short period of time they were given.
